Life seems to be empty, vain, meaningless. It just goes on for a short while, and ends in the blink of an eye. There seems to be no point to it. Death always seems to prevail over life. But love is different. Love never ends. It isnt cut short by death, in fact nothing can hinder love. Love can give life and can sustain it, it can be poured out completely over and over and over again, and yet still be just as rich and abundant. Life is what we have now. It was given to us out of love. Its cut short by death but sustained by love. Love just never ends. And Christ is that love. So life can seem to lack meaning, but how could love possibly come up lacking? Place your meaning, your purpose in Christ, in the Love that gives life freely. Life is empty and unfulfilled without love, but love completes and immortalizes it. What a beautiful gift! Thank you, Lord!
