Life sure throws you some curves. Yesterday my 36 year old son, Jacob, had a heart attack. He is in the cardiac ICU in St. Cloud. He has had to have stints put in his heart and one heart valve had to be re-inflated. He also has a pacemaker, which is temporary but it looks as if he may get a permanent one tomorrow. We almost lost him. I am so very thankful he is still with us and is stabilized. His cholesterol is normal and so is his blood pressure. No plaque built up in his arteries. It is a mystery as to why this happened except that he has severe asthma and the heart and lungs work so closely together, the doctors are thinking his asthma may have had something to do with bringing this on. He is looking much better and had a lot of family and friends visiting today which made him feel good. Thanks to everyone for their prayers!!
