Life without cell phone/smart phone - where are the hippies among us that are living the phone free life? Well, sinds two month its me! Waking up with the birds instead of my mobile. Finding my way by card and asking people around me instead of starring at google maps. No unnecessary stimulus from messages or notifications. It was fun to recall how life was before we were running around with a phone in our pocket 24/7. If you want to meet with someone you have to find each other at a specific place on a specific time. But even this goes wrong, it will alway turn out fine and youll find each other another way. Life without a phone is about practicing patient, training your brain, filtering distractions, having time for yourself, time to look around, time to talk to people next to you. The only thing I miss is my camera. And well yes I am a bad card reader so I also miss google maps ;) To bad society sort of expects us to have a phone and it is hard to fit in if you dont have one. So probably I will get to phone lifestyle. But at least I know Im not an addict and I can manage my life well without a phone. What about you? Any experiences?
