Lifes such a battlefield Gotta wear armor and have a shield Things are revealed meaning scars wont heal You just gotta move on no matter how it feels It might not feel real, but sometimes you cant afford to conceal the truth from the painful ordeal You might get frightened and let out a squeal No matter what you cant finish last, stay in first Dont worry about your past, its not worth all the hurt, It might happen to fast, and you cant control how your emotions burst It can always be worst just remember life aint easy Believe me stay focused and you can achieve Do whatever you want and succeed When you feel like falling to your knees stand up tall and dont let them watch you grieve Some think they can cheat Thinking they can figure out a way to defeat all the evil coming from the cold dark streets You gotta accept the fact you gotta bleed and maintain all your pain Once it comes out bleeding like you hit a vein Youll realize everyones struggle aint the same You get in trouble you take the blame Why would you tell on a friend what is there to gain In the end you will end up what he has became and regret all the mistakes you both made, A coward and fake slithering around like snakes All the heartache from a friend turning his back with no sign to hesitate When that happened I didnt think I could make it threw I was confused and lost I didnt know what to do I grew up and realized who was true Didnt know who to trust didnt know who I had to choose I just knew I had to lose someone I was always closed too
