Lifesaving Cape Town - hay what....... Western Province Sports Council are currently toying with the idea of changing its name to reflect the geographical demographics and a possible change may be Cape Town Sports Council meaning all affiliated sporting bodies may need to change with it. Remember we are a district and no longer a province and the name Western Province is quite confusing. Currently Western Province District together with all the other districts falls under the greater Western Cape Province. - however this process will take some time and is not expected to happen anytime this season.
