Liffey Celtic Under 11s had one of their best games of the season today vs a good Monasterevin side. Runo Ayavaro hit the crossbar early on after good work from Alex Kerrigan and Jack Flood. Liffey scored first when Harry Oconnors clever pass sent Jack Flood through for his first goal for the club. Monasterevin equalised after a defensive error. But Liffey came out all guns blazing in the second half when Ivan Plachetkova tapped in from Harry Oconnors cross. Ivan Plachetkova then controlled another Harry Oconnor cross to smash in a powerful volley to make it 3-1. Jack Flood was on hand to grab his 2nd after Peter Higgins played a lovely through ball to Oconnor who got his 4th assist of the day by crossing to Jack Flood. All 14 players involved were immense and deserved the victory.
