Light snow falling most of the day, not a lot of accumulation, but nice to see. Snowfall started to pick up about 11:00pm and now (1:30am) the wind is kicking up as well. Tonight groomed lower Kawuneeche rd, South Supply, North Supply and into the town of Grand Lake. Town trail looks pretty good after its first Saturday with minimal thin spots. Headed up upper Kawuneeche, down Christmas tree, and back up the other side of upper Kawuneeche rd (video from about 8pm.) One more good storm and well groom the Shortcuts, lots of big rocks in there, be careful! Up into Hot Dog Park through Chicken Hill, and down Pony Park Trail. Groomed up the northern approach to Gravel, using both the main trail and the bypass, all these trails are in great shape. Got up to the high point wind drift of Gravel and turned around. Well get to the south side of Gravel with the next NW wind and snow event. Went up to Stillwater Pass and then back to Idlglen on Stillwater rd which is covered and flat.
