Lightbulb - AHA moment.....reading about inflammation in the body, and yesterdays trip to the doc, and some stuff is starting to click. I mentioned the pain in my joints recently - it wakes me up at night, and he said the bloods he did showed a high result in inflammation too. Add that to the thyroid being inactive and my minerals etc being out of whack, it s no wonder depression is a factor too! I think some dietary advice will be next on the agenda ;-) Even though I have been on my thyroid replacement for 8 weeks or so my last bloods show that my level is still not where it should be.....so an increase in that, reduction in another medication and a new anti depressant to try. Fingers crossed improvements will be seen, and at least I can see now how it is all affecting my mental wellness too. If any of you are quietly suffering in similar ways I suggest you visit your health practitioner.....I seriously did not realise the link between some of these symptoms and many of us are suffering when we shouldnt be ;-)
