INTE-808980 Description The intern will gain practical experience in sales working in a lighting and gift shop environment. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following Dealing with Customers in a retail environment; Handling Cash, Credit Cards, and Till Procedures; Receiving and Checking Incoming Stock; Displaying Stock to the best advantage for sale; Gift Wrapping; Stocktaking as required. On completion the intern will have attained skills in Organisational skills, time management skills interpersonal skills and team playing skills. Skills Requirements Ability to deal with Customers in a friendly and courteous manner; punctuality; able to learn new skills and apply them as needed; Reliability in relation to all aspects of customer transactions Please Note: This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.See eligibility criteria above.
