Like and share this one! It’s one of my favorites! Many of you struggle with teaching your dog to walk without pulling on a leash. This can be frustrating right? This is one of the main reasons we have an epidemic in dog training in the form of prong, choke and electric collars. There are just a few things you need to know. I will often here from the traditional trainers who think that you need these “tools” to teach and that “bribing your dog with cookies” isn’t real training. Motivating your dog to learn new concepts with food is fine. However, it can be done WITHOUT food and WITHOUT FORCE too. I will often get requests like, “Zak, get a high drive German Shepherd and teach him to walk nice and then see if your methods work”. So I did. Not only will I not use force to teach Zeus in this video, I won’t even use treats.
