Like communities across the nation, yesterday Hood College marked Veterans Day with a meaningful ceremony. Cadets Taylor Winding ’17, Kyle Bosley ’17, Micah Falcon ’16 and Joey Fontanez ’16 served as the color guard; First Sgt. Kenneth Brooks Sr. of the 21st Signal Brigade at Fort Detrick, keynote speaker, read communications from veterans who served in many of the nation’s conflicts; and Cadets Tom Murphy ’18, Richard Hershey ’16, Rudy Garcia ’18, Carresia Gregory ’18 and Daniell Amezquita ’18 participated in the ceremony.
