Like everyone else, I like to share my kids accomplishments on Facebook, but this one is kind of unusual. My son Matthew Cohen has just completed a run of 118 miles in a 24-hour Ultramarathon in Philadelphia, good for 3rd place out 157 runners, and first place in his age group. This was a feat that required great courage and determination, as well as the support of a terrific group of friends. Also, while the race was in progress, his mom, Valerie Durbin, set a new record for most times hitting refresh on the website covering the race.
