Like many who are voting Yes Ive wanted independence since as far back as I can remember even thinking about it. In the 70s I argued with friends in school who thought that we werent clever enough to go it alone. I found their argument incredible then just as I do now when I hear folk say that we couldnt go it alone. To those who still believe that I would ask. Who are the clever ones? Those who are happy to allow Westminster to drain us of our resources which benefits not the people of Scotland, but the fat cat Westminster politicians and the city of London, or those who believe that an independent Scotland will allow us to choose our own government, a government that will work for the people of Scotland. For too long now Scots have had an inferiority complex. Post-independence there will be no inferiority complex. We will be a country making its own way in the world and making its own decisions. I for one will walk with my head held that little bit higher. Much higher in fact.
