Like most average folks who do not research this sort of thing as a profession, I am not an expert in this area. Therefore I look to those who are familiar with the knowledge base and understand these things. I submit that this is a good way to approach the topic, not because I do it but because it makes sense. Furthermore, I suggest that a “feelings” based approach or the application of ideology is not the way to go. Of course, like anything else, if I hear something contrary that is accompanied by an overwhelming mass of evidence, I stand ready to take another view.
