Like most people I have spoken to, there have not been many takers on my garden feeders this year. I keep different types of seeds in them, including one with niger seeds. Apart from abundant food being available in the wild this year, I have another problem; I have a couple of quite aggressive magpies and wood pigeons, that are always raiding the feeders, especially if I mix some dry worms with the seeds. Does anyone have any idea on how to discourage these pests?
