Like probably all of us yesterday I just could not get my head - TopicsExpress

Like probably all of us yesterday I just could not get my head round Thursdays debacle. Absolutely gutted. I still havent watched any information about the result via mainstream media sources, I cant bring myself to watch Scottish people cheering the result. I also cant bring myself to watch smug politicians, who have betrayed the people of their country to retain their individual power, crow about it. Equally I may never watch the First Ministers concession speech. I admire Alex Salmond very much. History will show in years to come that he has been a true and honest broker for the people of Scotland. He can take solace in the fact that he did his very best to bring about a positive change. We have already seen that the empty promises made have crumbled almost immediately, and sadly horrible photos from home of George Square overnight are now emerging. Three days ago thousands of positive, enthusiastic supporters of change sang, danced and laughed in the same spot. Look at it now. These thousands of people The 45 are not going away. The folks involved in the National Collective, Bella Caledonia, The Jimmy Reid Foundation, the Derek Batemans the Robin McAlpines, the Alan Bissetts, Radical Independence, Wings Over Scotland, individual bloggers behind pages like The wee ginger dug, the thousands of other advocates for change, are going nowhere. They continue the fight. They are not going back in the box. Whats your thoughts on our wee group? Should we pack it in or continue, refocusing towards sharing articles and providing continued positive support for our fellow countryfolk who voted Yes? Im happy to close down the page if there is no interest. Im also willing to carry on as Admin if the others are happy to do so too, if we want to continue. The group name would require no change. I passionately believe my fellow Scots who voted for change, The 45, are right, and as time moves on others will realise the error that they have made. On this occasion fear won the day. I for one dont think that will happen again.
