Like the poem I wrote before, sometimes the heroes of our tales become part of our lives. deep in our hearts they become idealic fantasies. This is the reason I joined the Marine Corps. I believed in honor and a knighthood. Still do. Thought the Marine Corps was it. Although it did fall short in some points. It excelled in others. I learned honor is in the man not the title and only self principal is our honor. not just a creed. Still, proud I did it. Best accomplishment I ever had. Still a patriotic American. Heroes come from within. Made by will.
