Lilys Pub & Eatery:- 701-703 Lisburn Road, BT9 7GU Price: £13pp We visited on a Saturday afternoon for a sparkling tea for two. Excited at the prospect of having bellinis and being classy ladies who lunch. I also returned for a second time as a surprise treat from my friend to celebrate my graduation. Food Quality: Pretty standard, nothing memorable. Our excitement for the bellinis was short lived, as they were reminiscent of cordial - seriously lacking in bubbles. It seemed like the bottle had been left open for quite some time - fell a bit flat for us. Rating: 2/5 Food Quantity: Standard four finger sandwiches, two scones and a variety of pastries. Rating: 3/5 Service: Despite the restaurant not being busy service was slow. After pointing out that the drinks were not up to standard we still did not receive a fresh glass. Not overly attentive. My second experience was considerably better, with a waiter stationed outside and happy to top up our tea. Rating: 2/5 Overall Experience: during our original visit we sat inside. The interior is quite dark, and doesnt give much of an afternoon tea vibe, its more pub than antique tea room. The second visit was a scorching day which meant we were happy to sit outside and soak up the rays, watching the hustle and bustle of a busy Saturday afternoon on the Lisburn Road.
