Lim lodges police report over death threat 13 September 2013 GEORGE TOWN : Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng lodged a police report over a death threat he received via social networking site Twitter on Wednesday night. The report was lodged at about 8pm last night at the George Town District Police Headquarters. "I have done so after being advised by my lawyer (State Housing Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo) to do so," he told a press conference here in Komtar today. The threat read "#DinastyLim #CEC #DAPig @cmlimguaneng cheater! You mati minggu depan" (You die next week) which was posted by a user (Moon Yue @moonyue18) at 7.18pm on Wednesday. Lim, who is also DAP Secretary-General, said he is unaware of the identity of the twitter account handler. "He had posted a couple of tweets (and tagged me in them) in the past, but this is a death threat," he said, adding that the account, which has 45 followers, 87 tweets, and is following 256 accounts, has only been active since June 12. He also said that the twitter account had not been posting anything since yesterday (Sept 12).SUN
