Limpopo has dismissed claims that officers of the Polokwane traffic department are unable to issue fines because they ran out of stationery.Roads and transport spokesperson Joshua Kwapa said on Thursday the primary role of officers was to provide road safety, not to issue fines.Kwapa admitted there had been a shortage of stationery."I acknowledge there was a shortage because the service provider failed to deliver on time. However, the gap was quickly filled, we went to other stations and got material," he said.
