Linda Carter faces another harrowing ordeal on EastEnders next month when she is forced to consider the possibility that she could be pregnant. Linda has kept her family in the dark after being raped by her brother-in-law Dean Wicks earlier this month, leaving her partner Mick deeply concerned over the change in her behaviour. As a traumatised Linda has trouble sleeping, Mick starts to despair and pleads with her to tell him what is wrong. Although Linda explains that she feels guilty for hitting Dexter Hartman a few weeks ago and invites him over for dinner, Mick remains unconvinced and books an appointment with the doctor. The situation gets worse when the dinner with Dexter doesnt go as planned, and Lindas erratic behaviour leaves Mick more concerned than ever. When Linda is later violently sick after smelling the lavender bath foam that Mick is using, he tells her that he has worked out what is wrong and thinks she is pregnant. As the Carter’s prepare to throw a big firework party at The Vic, Linda continues to feel anxious as a supportive Mick encourages her to do a pregnancy test. Linda knows Mick isn’t going to drop it so she reluctantly buys a test from the chemist. Excited, at the prospect of being a dad again, Mick looks through old pictures of their children, but Linda doesn’t share his enthusiasm. Her heart sinks when the test comes back positive - but will this be the moment she tells Mick what happened to her? Danny Dyer has warned that it’s all going to kick off when Mick finds out what Dean has done.
