Linda Hogg Malvena commented on yesterdays post that spring made her think of bluebells and so I thought of this picture. I love the bluebells in May and the many places in Scotland where the bluebells are so thick they look like someone painted a blanket of blue running under the trees and down the hillside. This picture is of St. Orans Chapel at Iona Abbey on the Isle of Iona. This is a very special place for me with strong ancestral ties. I love to sit in the little chapel and reflect on life and loved ones I have lost. It gives me a great feeling of peace and that all is right in the world! Mario has a great eye for detail with his handy camera!
