Linda Liukas’s Hello Ruby coding-for-kids storybook has just got into the global Top 10 must funded projects in Kickstarter’s publishing category. After raising more than 170,000 USD in less than three days, her story has already made it into the main Finnish newspaper (Hesari). This should open up eyes to the idea of creating a Finnish state-backed crowdfunding model that Richard wrote about extensively in Arctic Startup in 2012. Its time to think again.
