Linda and I had Sunday brunch earlier today in the elegant Tudor Room of the IU Memorial Union. It was wonderful as always. Afterwards we walked down to the second floor of the Union and went bowling on the lanes there. It was my first time to bowl in probably thirty or more years and my game reflected that. Plus, I had made the mistake of matching myself against Linda who grew up in a bowling family on the Chicago southside. Apparently she has never actually bowled 300 but has come close a few times in her life. Now were back at the apartment, Im in a lounge chair with a drink at hand, the chili is simmering in the slow cooker and were waiting for the Colts/Patriots game to begin. All in all, life is good.
