I see Polytechnic University head , the same head that marked my teenage memories from after the 17th of November speeches and small concerts and poetry readings in school.The head is marked with an A.Then , after a small orchestra intro ,and among the images of statues referring to renaissance and a nice collection of chopped of heads ,I hear the voice. It is Gregorian chant. The theatrical called Line of Eternity has just entered its main theme.Just like an Hamlet that comes from the depths of the jungle I see the actor singer performer flutist and composer dressed in read and holding a scull . The figure in white Katerina is supposed , as Didi informed me , to be his subconsciousness . Add this to his graduated education as a painter of School of modern arts of Khartoum and also as a scene designer two times awarded by the State Award of Sudan , and his experience at Carnegie-Mellon University School of drama , and as interior decorator and designer he was able to pull together the sound the poem and the movement in order to create a visual environment ,also being the director of everything , gaining that skill after his experience at Carnegie. And as he him himself says I dont like to work for nobody , so I decided to create my own poetry and my own music and materialized it my self on the stage . The same as I do for my video music and poetry. So I am free. The lyrics are . Twice thrice thrice twice, the client dies in the cemetery of the tribe in the cemetery of the tribe. The client dies I have been the personal admirer of free jazz for years now , this is something even more powerful.Even more than Moondog . The act continues with the poem wondering Souls from Didi Elderdiery M. Fadul poetry collection published by Athens alternative publications house COMMUNA during the year 1993. The lyrics go as it follows WANDERING SOULS The dead shake the dust from their shoes and die. Men and women lined the graveyard. Whores flash and children cry. Gates of heaven have no locks or ties but the children cry... cry and cry. With no hands they knock and knock -ock -ock... and cry... ... wandering souls. An old man has died, a child was born... ...screaming of a child. The performance of it is more recent . It is from the year 2008. By now , 2014 mr Didi has achieved a number of performances and new compositions and also reviews of earlier works. Evolving this multicolored cocktail of dreams , pain , endless struggle to perfection artistic ,and of course , above all justice freedom and love in this life.
