Lineage My Grandfather lives within my eyes. He lives within these cheek bones, and even my nose –size. My Grandfather lives within my jaw line, and within my lips. He even lives at the start of my hand, to my fingertips. My Grandfather lives within the width of my shoulders and the broadness of chest. He even lives within a young man trying to be he’s best. My Grandfather within my legs, he lives my feet. He lives within my strength to take a stand and not to just accept a seat. Generations of history on the canvas that is my body. So how could I ever think that is ugly?
