Lingaa - a personal review First of all wishing thalaivar a very prosperous birthday. This is another bday for thalaivar with a lot of expectations and this time its for Lingaa. The movie starts in a cliche Tamil movie style introducing a bad politician as d villain and a village in distress cos of him. Followed by an intro song which is not impressive in any way, the movie gets stale with scenes which miss logic and comedy with no humour. Romance just happens like in most movies with an invisible caution to d audience Dont ask how. The Gasolina song in Manos singing brilliance is only for d ears, visuals are disappointing like all other songs in d movie. With a flashback running from pre to post interval gets d audience restless. Sonakshi Sinha has done justice to her part and makes us forget its her debut in Tamil as d movie proceeds. A climax which did not need such flamboyance confirms the movie was a truly commercial motive. Punch dialogues and the always awaited style factor was low scaled for thalaivar, maybe wanting to focus on the storyline more. But yet the director, K.S.Ravikumar does not put the audience in awe any where through out d movie and not have any scene close to d heart while one walks out. Being precise, Lingaa makes all thalaivar fans fish out good parts in the movie rather than to enjoy it on a whole. Lingaa - Disappointment
