Linux Web Hosting Engineer Required for HorizonTechs Job Requirements - Linux distribution: {Redhat is a must, Ubuntu/Debian are plus}. - cPanel/WHM familiarity is plus. - Web Servers: Apache and nginx { Varnish and HAproxy are plus }. - IPTables firewall: iptables, CSF and APF. - knowledge of MySQL, SSH, DNS, NFS. - Knowledge of scripting languages : {Bash at least}. - MailServers: {Postfix and Exim}. - Knowledge of Virtualization platform : {KVM, Xen and VMware}. - Familiarity with various tools and methods for administering the Linux Systems infrastructure. - An understanding of switched networking, IP, TCP, UDP, VLANs, NAT, firewalling.
