I remember being about 8 years old watching this on Mtv over and over again thinking Wow! Theres still controversy and criticism about how much was raised, where the money went, etc. Both fame and money are a double edged sword, it can like anything, be used for good or bad. But one thing that cannot be denied is the AMAZING power in a chorus of celebrated personalities, singing their hearts out and who at the end of the day are really just like the song belts out... Gods children like all of us, no matter what we do. They all showed up in a BIG way- and whatever would divide them outside of this was, for a moment in time, completely forgotten.
