Lisa passed away this morning after an intense and unfair battle with Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease. Lisa will be remembered for her laugh, loyalty and deep love for her family. The friendships she built through the livestock industry, the kids she cheered for at Huron sporting events and the family members she wrapped with love will always be lucky because they were touched by her ferocious spirit. Well be having a drink for Lisa this afternoon. Maybe there will even be dancing on the tables. Lisas celebration of life will begin Thursday, June 5 with visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary Service to follow at 8 p.m. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 6 all at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Huron. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in rural Chamberlain at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
