Lisas first tyre training day, double beasted up! Lisa Pook our bootcamper is training for the ice warrior expedition in feb 2015, an arctic expedition to the northern pole of inaccessibility. Only three men in history have attempted this journey, so far not one has made it. For Lisa this will be a 200 mile stretch in -40 degree temperatures at the most deadliest time of year in the arctic. Jim McNeill the polar explorer (who twice before attempted this journey) will be leading the team to the geographical northern pole and his stretch is the entire 800 miles. Their purpose? Scientific research on global warming and the effect in the arctic. This is a mammoth adventure that will take ALOT of prep for. The physical training has now begun!
