“Listen to the mustnts, child. Listen to the donts. Listen to the shouldnts, the impossibles, the wonts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.” ― Shel Silverstein “You may say Im a dreamer, but Im not the only one. I hope someday youll join us. And the world will live as one.” ― John Lennon Hold fast to dreams, For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird, That cannot fly.” ― Langston Hughes Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words And never stops at all.” ― Emily Dickinson They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.” ― Tom Bodett These gathered in my dreams, in my meditations, the greats, the profound thinkers, the great authors, the grand dreamers of things higher than my own thoughts. Silverstein, King, Lennon, Hughes, Dickinson, Kennedy, Lincoln, Bodett, yes even Jesus, the apostle Paul , even Buddha, Gandhi, Mandela, Mother Teresa, all these gathering to speak into my heart, my mind, my soul as I beg for the answers for our troubles, our pains, our heartaches that seem to go on endlessly without end. I question who I am to doubt the powers of the universe, the wisdom of the gods when these magnificent visionaries, these who some died for the hope of dreams to come alive, who am I to question the path I have been given to walk, to live, to lead. I stop, looking around at the world I live in right now. We have so much, everything given to us in an instant, in a moment’s notice, at the touch of our fingertips; that we dare to question the timing of the gods to receive our ultimate goals, our dreams. As I look at yesterday in hindsight, I see the lessons I learned, the growth I achieved, perhaps the reason why I wait. In hope for tomorrow. Animal totems: Stag: Brother Stag is the head of his family, his clan, his land. He is power, simply put, pure power. Coming from the ancient world where the strong, the powerful, rules, Stag reminds us all of our inner, our power. We are given power over the universe, the wild, the hills, the seas, the air. All elements, all of the universe were mad for our good. Stag reminds us to use the wild, the nature, our own energies to have hope. His totem reminds us that our answers come from others who have gone before us, the elders of the tribe. Listening to great minds, profound thinkers, we will find our path easier, balanced as Stag runs through deep forest without fear. I am here my usual hours today. May the fairies dance with the stags, and us all today . Love ya Me, Cherokee, Cidro, Frankie Capone, Sugar Fortune cookie, T and the sweet spirit of Bob and Bets.
