Listening to Southern Rock takes me right back to my early 20s. Listening to Georgia Satellites and thinking about going to see them with Cheli (rip), Wet Willie and going to a concert with Randy, Jay, and Bill, Marshall Tucker and Tana, Kathie, Tim, Tommy, and Kim, Lynard Skinyard and buying their last album at the same time as Amber, Introducing Keith to Charlie Daniels, 38 Special and a girl singing it to Curt in a very suggestive way, The Outlaws and playing them on a strereo out at Argyle sipping gin and tonic, going to see Henry Paul Band with Jo, driving invisible to see MTB, and listening to Mackinaw with the other Kathie, and speaking of local bands how about Rainbow Riders or the best band of all time Gin Ridge. Now Black Oak is on and thinking of free concert at WIU. And what about that college band in Springfield MO, Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Im done reminiscing and Im feeling old but smiling.
