Listening to some currently rough versions, without vocals of my favourite track from The Modes. Im going to be controversial now...If you love Royal Blood which apparently you do you need to come down here on Thursday and see this The Modes + Alter Egos + The Fun Die Young + ARX. Arx are a female rock duo with the same set up and the The Modes will blow you away like Royal Blood did to me in the Tangerine a couple of years ago. I think The Modes are as good so instead of banging on about Glastonbury this, Download that, Reading the other and taking the world by storm, come down to the bar on Thursday and listen to the next awesome band off the Worthing production line. The Modes cant be more than ten gigs old and their potential is huge just like Royal Blood were as little as two year ago. Is it only me that thinks this is part of the fun? See a band, love a band and watch them move up the ladder knowing that the money you pay for a CD and T-Shirt pushes them up the ladder further with more tours and more EPs. Bands who have played here are so close to big stuff. EofE, Fickle Friends, Collisions, Seething Akira, Echotape, Toshes, Ash Is A Robot, High Tyde, Shields, Skies In Motion and more and thats if you ignore the massive potential of bands like Departure From Normal, Miss Vincent, Felix Pallas, Monastery, Tomorrow Is Ours, Callista and many more who are in the chasing pack. Its all here!
