Listowell Y. Bukarson, President, Ghana Journalists Association, Ashanti Region: When it mattered most, Jesus resorted to caning in the temple. If tempers flare and a manager claims to be more a gangster than a player, that has the potential of heightening tempers. The accounts so far suggest the incident occurred in the glare of the GFA President, Management Committee Members, Technical team members, players and some special dudes without portfolios. The GFA shamelessly issues a statement claiming Sulleys attacks on Mr. Moses Armah was without provocation. Utter nonsense! Is Sulley so stupid and daft to go about slapping people? Ah, how many people have Sulley slapped even in the face of provocation for all these successful years as a footballer? I condemn that physical attack in clear details but i massively support his boldness and confidence to stand up to the greed and gluttony of these GFA gurus. They seem untouchable, hiding behind this stupid law of no government interference in football. For once, Sulley will amass massive support in some of us. For me, he is a hero for standing up to the rottenness and corruption in the GFA. Didnt we hear of stories that suggested that Management committee members were earning $35,000 each as appearance fee and $15,900 each as winning bonus? $30,000 for local food in Brazil?, etc. For me, Sulley, like Jesus Christ, stood up for the rest of his timid colleagues in the team. Thanks, Sulley. Kevin claims he was insulted and abused by the coach. How about that? Is the court of public opinion interested in knowing his side of the story? Dont let us be quick to judge to condemn. Posterity will judge our donkeys leading lions at the Black Stars. Apologies to the Telegraph UK. As for President John Dramani Mahama, i will have time for him and his Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, and his cronies who hijacked the World Cup Committee!! Another avenue for his NDC vampires to suck the depleted national coffers? I will be back. Ghana must wake up and stand up to the milking and sucking of our resource. Thinking unconventionally. Folks, Sports is huge!
