Literally just finished watching What Dreams May Come. Was talking about how its one of my favorite love stories and one Robin Williams greatest moments as an actor. Walked out to look at the moon only to be told by my dad that Williams committed suicide as soon as I walked back to the house. Robin Williams may have been one of the greatest influences on my personality, my sense of humor, and my desire to be a dynamic performer, whether in the streets or on stage. Awareness is the burden of intelligence. Williams was far more than just talented, and not least of all, he was intelligent. He isnt the first brilliant man to shuffle himself loose and he wont be the last and I certainly will never begrudge him the decision to flee from the fields of vacuousness and stupidity and pain that he had been wandering in for the better part of half a century once he started his tour de force career. But I will miss him and I will be sad for a very long time. And Ill hope that hes somewhere far less unfriendly to his wonders than this place was. O Captain! My Captain, may you Rest In Peace.
