Little Sugar. He is a real sweetie pie. He was born deformed. He had a human who moved and abandoned him. Its hard to believe anyone can abandon a dog who can hardly walk. They did. Then someone tried to help him fed him on the streets and posted about him. We offered to take him. He will have his extra deformed leg amputated in January sometime. We have asked all the specialists and they agree or dont answer. We did this because his so called good leg is not so good either. There is a chance his good leg will collapse. We did appeal to the English Super vet Noel Fitzpatrick but so far nothing. He didnt even reply. Thought he may give some advice at least. I guess he is busy. So we will go ahead with the amputation, which the USA vets, who at least were kind enough to reply and look at his xrays said was the only solution. They have offered to look at prosthetic devices for him too on top of saying they would do the surgery free. Wish there was a solution. He is so young and bouncy. We will do the best we can to get him a more normal life and someone to adopt him into a loving home. He will be special needs and needs a special person.
