Little man is resting, A LOT! He is been sleeping very soundly me all day long. We were possibly going to go home today but the doctor change their mind because his oxygen saturation is still low, and his heart rate was high earlier. He has not eaten anything and since Monday I can get them at one or two bites of yogurt but his appetite is still nonexistent. He varies throughout the day so I cant honestly say that hes gotten any better or worse in some ways hes gotten better in other ways hes gotten worse but he is still fighting. As a matter fact now I have to give a warning to take his toys away before anybody goes near him because he is throwing his toys and hitting people with them. The staff is been so great and supportive of the needs of me and Kayson. They finally addressed his sleep issues without automatically assuming that they were night terrors the nurses told them how hard its been for both of not sleeping and theyre looking at it as a more of a neurological issue than a night terror issue which is what I think is really making a difference. Last night was yhe first peaceful night of sleep he got since weve been here. I understand ruling out every possibility before going to other issues for sleep but this year hes been sick a lot and hes just not kicking this because I hes not getting any sleep. As of today they talked about sending us home tomorrow if his oxygen titration goes up but we will be going home with oxygen and suction. Happy new year everyone and although this isnt how we planned on kicking off the new year at least I have have great company and lots of cuddle time with my little man💛
