Little sisters look up to their big brothers. When those big - TopicsExpress

Little sisters look up to their big brothers. When those big brothers get annoying and/or obnoxious (not saying that is ever a possibility), they look up to their big brothers best friends. Taylor was a fixture in our house when i was growing up, and I remember being in the car on many occasions outside his house when we dropped Willie off or picked Taylor up to go somewhere. I remember the CB radio handles (mine was Sundance Kid) and I remember Willie and Taylor listening to records together and just being really excited about music in general--they had a huge influence on my taste in music. Taylor was like a member of our family. Eventually, Willie moved out and I found my own friends to get into trouble with. In 1995 or so, I decided that Id had enough of Pittsburgh and would be moving to DC. Before that time, though, I became friends with Bruce, and through Bruce, I became reacquainted with Taylor and Kristie. I remember them as being incredibly kind and sweet. Taylor was still the same intelligent, funny guy he always was. it was nice to talk to Taylor about what he had been up to all those years, and sharing memories of Willie. I remember thinking, with awesome people like this around, do i want to leave? Reading some of these posts has moved me to tears and taught me a lesson that in reality, I have learned before, but need to put to good use--no matter how difficult, tell the people in your life that you love them with all of your heart.
