... Little wonder Butrus said in Julius Caesar, “It is the bright day that brings forth the adder…Lowliness is young ambition’s ladder, whereto the climber-upward turns his face; But when he once attains the uppermost round, he then unto the ladder turns his back, looks in the clouds, scorning the base degrees by which he did ascend.” Erdogan, as president, has “attained the uppermost round” and he has “unto the ladder turned his back” and is now “scorning the base degrees by which he did ascend.” Surely, the Turkish warlord is descending to the abyss. His latest actions are part of pre-election brouhaha. But who will tell him that he is fighting a lost battle? Who will remind him of how it turned out with Hitler? For adherents of reincarnation, animals, whether real or political, hardly advance positively from their pasts. Hitler ‘incarnate’ cannot be an exception. There is no going back from this political suicide. Unless, of course, Hitler has not been ‘reincarnated’ in Turkey. Then Erdogan will listen to reason and halt this backward movement. He’d yield to local and international pressure, apologise for this hour of madness and straighten his parts. ngrguardiannews/opinion/columnist/192365-ayodele-erdogan-as-hitler-s-reincarnation-in-turkey
