Live The Life You Sing About #17: From the outside looking in, its easy to think that music ministry is lights, camera angles and red carpets. Some are blessed to experience a level of fame due to their success, but real ministry has nothing to do with celebrity. Real ministry is in the trenches. Its praying with that woman after the concert. Its sowing into another artists ministry. Its going to local prisons and singing your songs of hope there. No one really talks about it much, but real ministry will move your name to the top of Satans hit list. When you accepted the call to ministry, you told the kingdom of darkness that you were taking back souls that Satan had already claimed. Because of your acceptance of this mission, you have been placed in the Devils direct line of fire. Prepare to be rejected, criticized, ostracized, and demonized. You will be talked about and lied on. Expect to lose some relationships and dont be surprised when you encounter jealousy and envy and are hated for no reason. In this season of celebrating our Risen Savior, we need to remember that speaking the truth and following the Fathers instructions can cost you a lot. But do not fear. God has gone before you and counteracted every single attack Satan has pulled out of his goodie bag to use against you. Always on the offensive and never on the defensive, God is temporarily allowing the Enemy to get his jabs in. But its all to get you exactly where He wants you to be. On that day when you hear, Well done, my good and faithful servant, every single sacrifice, every bad word spoken against you and every tear you cried will all be worth it.
