"Live coverage of the “W” hour on Facebook! Every year on 1 August at 5pm the entire city of Warsaw “freezes” for 1 minute. For this brief period of time everyone stops and current residents of Warsaw pay tribute to those, who 69 years ago fought and died for the freedom of the city. For the first time this year we would like to show on the social media how the residents of Warsaw salute the Warsaw Insurgents. On 1 August at 5pm on the Facebook profile of the Warsaw Rising Museum we will transmit a live coverage from four selected locations in Warsaw, making it possible for countless viewers, including those who are currently abroad, to see this unprecedented event. This is a joint undertaking with R5Films. The „W” Hour is a codename for the beginning of the Warsaw Rising. Colonel Antoni Chruściel “Monter” gave an order to start the fighting at 5pm on Tuesday, 1 August, 1944."
