Live-fire training planned at Fort Indiantown Gap Fort Indiantown Gap will conduct live-fire mortar and artillery exercises from Saturday through Wednesday: goo.gl/yWu1DI Training using 120 mm mortar rounds is scheduled from 8 a.m. Saturday through 1 p.m., Sunday. Training using 155 mm artillery shells is scheduled from 8 a.m. Monday through 5 p.m., Wednesday. The training is expected to result in increased noise levels for nearby residents. To minimize disruption in neighboring communities, firing is routinely scheduled to begin no sooner than 8 a.m. each morning and end no later than 11 p.m. each night.
