Lived in South Korea for over a year. Yes they eat dog, but the average Korean CANNOT AFFORD ANYTHING ELSE regularly! I am a dog lover and it is hard to understand, but after living there and understanding they have little to NO room for grazing cattle of any kind, and the fact that Chicken or Beef are so expensive only the elite can afford it I understand why it happens. Its hard for most Americans to understand as our culture is spoiled ROTTEN and SEEMS to believe we are the moral judges of the world. The dogs I saw slaughtered for Food were either beheaded or necks wrung before they were processed. THEY ARE NOT BOILED ALIVE.... They would explode.... I understand the gut wrenching part of it as I AM A DOG LOVER. But I also witnessed first hand the fact that without the meat from these animals, millions of people would be starving. Its an unfortunate situation but unless one can offer an alternative to feed say 10-20 million people its best to NOT PASS JUDGMENT and be grateful you live in a country that provides relatively cheap protein.
