Lively, joyous, profound, entertaining, and just plain silly. Opening just in time for the spooky season at Chroma Gallery, Mask-Arrayed: The Art of Masks Today. Join Simmon and Robin this Friday, October 3 at the Artists Reception from 5 to 8pm. There will be refreshments and for your listening and dancing pleasure, DJ Dimitri will be spinning tunes on the backyard stage. You are encouraged to wear a mask or costume. The exhibit features over 50 masks, paintings, sculptures, ceramics and photos – interpretations of alter-ego and secret identities. Chroma Gallery is at 312 South A Street, in Santa Rosas SOFA Art District. Come early and explore all the other neighborhood art studios which will be open for the First Friday Open Studios. Mask-Arrayed continues thru November 15. Gallery hours are Wednesday thru Saturday 12-4 or by appointment 293-6051.
