Liverpool are major favourites to land Barcelona star Cristian Tello before February 1. The Spanish youngster has been heavily linked with a move to Merseyside in recent time and, despite the player insisting hes happy at the Nou Camp, he remains odds on to join the Reds. Sky Bet have placed him at 1/2 to join the Anfield outfit before the end of this transfer window which is well ahead of Arsenal, who are also reportedly interested in his services. Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers recently admitted that the club have been working hard to secure the services of new players and perhaps the La Liga star could still make the switch to Merseyside. It remains to be seen as to whether Liverpool will make a move for Tello in this market. The Spanish international only signed a new deal at the Nou Camp this past summer which saw his release clause rise from £8.7 million to 22m. And Brendan Rodgers could be tempted to add to his forward ranks as he goes in search of success this season. The likes of Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge, Luis Suarez and Co. have all impressed in this campaign, but the club could still add to the squad this month.
