Liverpool are set to pip Tottenham to the services of MK Dons wonderkid Dele Alli, according to reports. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is earning rave reviews following his performances for the League One side this season and Spurs were reported to be leading the race for his signature. However Liverpool appear to have nipped in and have been holding talks with MK Dons with a view to agreeing a £9million deal that will be completed when the transfer window opens. It has also been suggested that once the deal is done, Liverpool will loan Alli back to MK Dons for the remainder of the season. Tottenham are still in with a chance of doing a deal, but will have to move quickly, while fellow Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United are also keen on the England Under-19 international.
