Living in Charismania is like being in a never ending hamster - TopicsExpress

Living in Charismania is like being in a never ending hamster wheel, you toil and toil and work up a frenzy and you think you are going places, only to find yourself running in circles (sometimes literally!). You are encouraged along the way to keep pressing in sister God has that breakthrough this is a spiritual battle that devil is a liar dont give up the fight dont stop your confessions you have the victory when the praises go up the blessings come down dont give up now, I see a change coming in the atmosphere dont grow weary in doing good I have a word from the Lord for you... sow that faith seed with great expectation dont despise small beginning God has a wonderful plan for your life the best is yet to come God is getting ready to open up the windows of heaven for you God is getting ready to increase you you are getting ready to birth that dream favor is on its way. You are living in constant expectation of something extraordinary and fantastic to just happen to you! You havent raised the dead yet, although it should easily follow them that believe, but dont you worry, you are working your faith up to that! Then ten years later you look back and you are still in the same hamster wheel of expectation, and stubbornly holding on for that breakthrough. This is a pathetic picture of my life as a Pentecostal, and honestly it is a picture of most Pentecostals I know of. You are constantly running after everything else but Christ, and thinking it really is Christ you are running after, and disguising it as work for the Lord ministry serving God relationship with God love for God faith. Pentecostalism is a SHAM. Certainly many sincere people are just caught up in it and cannot find a way of escape, if they even voice a hint of frustration or disappointment or anxiety, then they have just exhibited their lack of faith and the reason for them still being in that hamster wheel (yet they are ALL in the same wheel together!). Pentecostalism will wear you out and wear you down, and when it sucks the joy out of you, they will encourage you to whip yourself up in a frenzy again and not let that devil steal your joy. Pentecostalism is like being bi-polar, these people are on a constant emotional and spiritual rollercoaster, high highs and low lows, but they hide the lows very well for the stigma of a lack of faith. I pray for many to be delivered of this never-ending cycle. I am sorrowful that anyone has to even be trapped in that false system. There is so much FREEDOM in Christ!!! When you are fully satisfied in Christ alone, there is no room for running in circles on a hamster wheel, you already have ALL that you want and need in HIM. He is the END. Certainly Christians are in a race, running with endurance, contending for the faith, fighting the good fight of faith, but see, His yolk is easy and His burden is light, you are able to persevere by His grace, His grace is sufficient even in times of weakness, and you are actually running in a real race with a real finish line, not in a hamster wheel. Oh to know this kind of freedom! I will never ever go back to bondage once I have tasted freedom. Thank you LORD for delivering me from Pentecostalism, I have found rest in Christ, true joy, true peace, true contentment.
