Living in an instant society has a lot of really cool perks. We can facebook and get a messages out to a bunch of friends. We can shoot a text message and the recipient gets it immediately. we dont even have to wait for our favorite TV shows to come on these days. We have DVRs and stuff like netflix so we can watch it anytime we want. Sure these things are awesome but they are also a curse. It causes people to think that everything should be instant. We should be losing 10 lbs a week like they do on the biggest loser. We should be able to make as much money as we want like some of our friends. What most people dont see is all the hard work that goes into these things. Most people will lose 1 lb a week if they work really hard. Most people will get a 3% raise each year if they are lucky and then complain about it. You have the choice to change the way you see things. Realize that nothing is easy and that no one OWES you anything. If you want something you have to work your butt off to get there. Want to lose more weight? Change your nutrition. Plan better meals. Workout harder!!! Need more money? Get a better job. Take on a second job. Start your own business. So many options.... Dont be afraid of hard work. It will always work out in the end if you stay consistent but only if you give it enough time to make it happen!
