Living with your dad being Safety Man has always been interesting. We always had to be extra safe in everything we did. Probably the only kids in the county to wear motorcycle helmets to sled ride. Anyway, one of my favorite topics to teach is Lock out/ tag out to avoid electrical shock. Tonight (Miss Helen Cary) I was filling the water troughs, fence turned off, girls in the stroller, assumed (1st mistake) we were home alone. Standing with the hose on the fence talking to Brooklyn when all of a sudden electricity surged through my body, it nearly knocked me down, I dropped the hose that proceeded to soak me and when I reached for it I was zapped again. Stunned and afraid to go after the hose again I started back to the barn when Dad came around the corner. I said did you turn the lights on? I couldnt scrap the stalls in the dark! It was 5:30!!!! He said Why? I told him I was watering the horses- his response.... I didnt see a lock out tag! LOL Miss Helen- Gahead!!!!!! Kevin Yeager Chris Pedersen
